This is also the best seat we've ever found for sitting around a firepit whether camping, conducting a marshmallow toasting ritual or dancing naked under the starlight.

Inspired by an ancient design, each chair is made completely by hand by my husband in our home in Dover, NH. After shaping and sanding, the unique coloring and patterns on each piece are ritually brought out using smoke and flame. He then burns or carves the design you choose onto the headrest before performing a final smoothing before finish is applied. Each chair can be finished with either a traditional linseed oil finish or, if desired, a more water and UV resistant spar varnish can be used. 

Due to the large number of options available, we keep very few of these in stock. Expect a one to two week lead time for most orders, with some custom orders possibly taking longer depending on the complexity of the design.

Care Instructions: For indoor use, a simple dusting is all that's needed. While each chair comes sealed with a weather resistant finish and will be fine with occasional rain, for continuous outdoor use an annual polyurethane or spar varnish treatment is recommended.
